What real or fictional characters does he associate with, either on TV, print or real life? Tell him THAT PERSON eats (insert food of choice) and just loves it. In my day, it was Popeye the Sailor Man who ate spinach to make him strong.

Great post, Janelle! It reminds me of that line from the Louis Armstrong song, “I see babies smile and I watch them grow. They’ll learn much more than we’ll know. And I think to myself, what a wonderful world”. One of my favorites! This being the internet age, it’s really mind-blowing just how true those words are these days. I thought I was hot stuff for teaching my mom how to text; my kid will be teaching me how to use gadgets that don’t yet exist!

thanks Jaime. one of my favorite times when you were growing up too – and though you are writing for parents of preschoolers, car talk remains imcredibly important through the school years…even when the person in the passenger seat has their face turned away to the window and pretends to not want to hear anything being said! thanks for letting me know you heard the loving messages being sent your way

I am having the same things with Carson as you are with Jack. Especially the last few weeks we have been having a lot more accidents during the day and even at night. He has been wanting me to be there in the bathroom with him as well. He always wants to wrestle!! That is the one thing he misses the most about not having Daddy around to wrestle with. It must be a boy thing!!
Hoping that Jack is doing better now that Daddy is back home.
